I will check the news before bed to see what outcome the early returns are indicating. Either way, I will sleep fine. But tomorrow morning, there should be a lot of people moving out of the country – you know, all those people who felt such deep disgust about one candidate that they vowed to leave if their candidate didn’t win. I’ve always hated people who say this and would gladly help them buy a ticket to go. They are like ungrateful children who have been spoiled with so much that they take it for granted. I dislike a cavalier attitude toward US citizenship – people not knowing what it means to be in this great country. Surely they’ve heard about all the immigrants trying to come into the US. Do they ever ask “why?” or what they are leaving? Of course, no-one will actually leave.
Tick, tock; tick, tock…the polls are gradually closing from East to West. Tomorrow we will have new problems, but Americans will adjust in time. I wish I could be more excited.
