The “bad” – I went to a movie and there was an old man and what seemed to be his grown son behind me. The kid kept kicking the back of my seat and the old guy kept sucking air between his dentures making “tssst” noises. Seriously. I moved to the other side of my friend. There is a “funny” part to this story…we went to see Spider-Man Homecoming and we were clearly outside the main demographic of viewers judging everyone else in the theatre. I like that…don’t label me. I always want to surprise people.
Finally, the “ugly” – A coworker recommended an Italian bakery/deli near my office and one quiet day this week, another colleague and I went over there to check it out. Indeed, the baked goods and breads looked mouthwatering. We ordered subs and while we were waiting for my sandwich to come out, a mouse travelled the floor between the cash register and the wall holding the bread shelves! Eewwww! This was the middle of the day in a crowded deli! Needless to say, we won’t be going back there.
